Does eSpline offer a Free Trial License to the Managing VC Portal?

Yes, eSpline does offer a 60-Day trial license for the Avenue Managing VC Portal also known as the Avenue Portal.

eSplinePortal_LogoWith a 60-Day Trial License you have the ability to download VC or IPC product models, compare two product models and view only what changed in a navigable pdf or html document.  You also may use a  capability to submit any VC product model for a Best Practices diagnosis in the eSpline Avenue Health Check Report.     Need to document your VC product model?  Again an intuitive and easy-to-read navigable pdf or html document is available. 

New capabilities include: 1) creation of comments and 2) tasks within the eSpline Portal for a model and all annotations and tasks are shown for all versions of the model, not just for the most current version.  Need to 3) upload or move a product model to another SAP instance, Avenue i2i can do it very quickly.

What is the relationship between eSpline and CWG?

We host and support the CWG SAP Sandbox and the CWG Sandbox was iniitiated by Daniel Naus while he was President of the CWG in 2007 - 2008.  There are now hundreds registered users of the SAP CWG Sandbox.  More information on the Sandbox...

Don Cochran, an eSpline partner has been a member of the CWG Board of Directors for three years and served as the Vice President in CWG Member Logo2009 - 2010 and as the President in 2010 - 2011.  He has initiated the Membership, Marketing, SIG/Focus Group, Community, and Chapter Committees and encouraged the concept of Chapters with 13 new CWG Chapters.   Don is now the Past President of the CWG.

I hear eSpline has a translator to Oracle CPQ?

Oracle CPQ logo - midYes, we do have a translator for SAP VC models to Oracle CPQ | BigMachines
 
eSpline has had the ability to extract a Variant Configurator product model for many years and it has been tested with VCandBig - Side-bySide 200x113 1,000s of  SAP models.  We have translated 3rd party configurator applications to the SAP VC and now have the ability to translate SAP Variant Configurator rules, tables and BOM's and import all objects to Oracle CPQ | BigMachines.  
 
The VC rules patterns are analyzed and rule logic is translated and loaded so that Oracle CPQ rule behavior is  virtually the same in either application, so that the investment in the Variant Configurator can be leveraged and continued to be used.  more information button
 
We have made available an AutoImport solution, now a part of the application that eliminates virtually all of the manual tasks that are required to import to Oracle CPQ | BigMachines (APIs did not exist) making it much easier to get your VC models or model changes to Oracle CPQ | BigMachines.
 

I hear you offer SAP VC Training. Do you offer training at the CWG Conferences?

We offer 2-Day Basic VC Modeling and 2-Day Advanced VC Modeling Workshops and frequently the IPC 5.0 Technical Training Workshop immediately following each of the Configuration Workgroup (CWG) Conferences in Europe and in the USA (North American Conference)

We provide experienced consultants that can provide a blue print, model design, modeling effort, VC training, planning, testing, implementation and rollout.  Our goal is to transfer the knowledge to you the customer so you are comfortable with the installation after we leave.
