Translation Screens

Rule Pattern Translation

Avenue Translator - Select Translation - 600x389The screen shows a menu option in the eSpline cloud application, Avenue Managing VC Portal, after the SAP Variant Configurator model has been extracted from an SAP instance, imported, and processed, and is now ready to translate to Oracle CPQ rules, tables, etc.  This is where the hard work and magic start.

In a production mode, you would not see this screen or need to manually translate the model.

Upload Translated Rules

Avenue Translator - Import to BigMachines - 600x389The upload from the eSpline Avenue Portal to Oracle CPQ | BigMachines has been automated.  There were over 20 manual processes that were automated since there were few APIs available for this type of integration and the Avenue AutoImport uploads translated VC models to the Oracle CPQ | BigMachines Admin function.

Believe it!  Your SAP VC model is likely complex and you have invested lots of time and treasure to make it work for you.

You are not going to replace VC!    So, Leverage it!

Keep SAP VC for your product definition for manufacturing, purchasing, and all else it does well and then leverage it for a front-end sales definition for quoting.
